Sabor Latino in Brossard stands out as a carefully curated grocery store that brings a slice of Latin American markets to the South Shore. Tucked into the bustling Taschereau Boulevard strip, this is the kind of place where neighborhood shoppers and Latin food enthusiasts gather to find specialty ingredients that aren’t easy to come by in larger, conventional supermarkets.

The store's setup is compact but thoughtfully organized, making it easy to navigate despite not being overly large. You’ll find sections dedicated to fresh produce, a butcher’s counter with a variety of meats, and a bakery that draws attention for its quality—locals often praise the croissants here for rivaling more niche bakeries in the area. The inclusion of unique items like bone marrow and fresh lulos reflects a genuine commitment to authentic Latin ingredients, appealing to both those looking to cook traditional dishes and curious foodies hunting for new flavors.

Besides groceries, the store features a small coffee shop and an adjoining restaurant inside the same mall, giving shoppers an option to linger or grab a quick, comforting bite. This integration makes Sabor Latino a practical stop for anyone wanting to combine errands with a casual meal, especially those familiar with Latin American cuisine.

This is clearly a local hub for the Latin community but also serves those from other areas—people travel from as far as Ottawa to stock up here, and many appreciate it as a less hectic alternative to downtown Montreal stores. Prices may be on the higher side for some products, but the quality and range of items compensate, especially if you're sourcing hard-to-find goods.

Visiting during weekday mornings or early afternoons tends to be smooth and less crowded, offering a chance to take your time exploring the aisles. The atmosphere feels clean, welcoming, and earnest in its focus on delivering an authentic market experience that blends convenience with cultural specificity. For anyone living in or around Brossard who enjoys Latin American food or who wants to discover ingredients beyond the usual grocery offerings, Sabor Latino presents a well-rounded, reliable option.

I came all the way from Ottawa looking to stock up on Latin Food. And we ran into this gem. Great distribution and quality of products We used to go to the old location on St. Hubert, but the new location is great option for avoiding the drive into hectic Mtl.

This place is really clean and even though not so big, they carry lots of products that you wouldn’t find somewhere else, like bone marrow for example. The bakery inside this supermarket is also really nice. Their croissants are even better than other specialty bakeries! I give 4 stars because the price is a bit high for the majority of the products.

My prayers have been answered! The south shore has had a few Latin-American mini-markets markets open over the last few years, but Sabor Latino is a large one-stop shop. They have a bakery/coffee shop, fruver (they have lulos!!!), butcher, wide array of imported and domestic Latin-American goods, amazing restaurant (further into the mall and it is delicious too! Papusas rock!), as well as BBQ chicken. Need party supplies? They have that too (great pinatas etc...). Oh, and the donuts are to die for!!! Better than Tim's and Krispy Kreme! Friendly staff too. Adelante!
